This multiple level store featuring clothing made of Chinese silk is the flagship store for Blanc de Chine. A vertical stair slot is screened from the rest of the store by a scrim constructed of bamboo and laminated glass within an inner liner of fabric that is a delicate, ephemeral diffuser of light. The street facade is a continuous line of display that is varied in density and scale with translucent panels that again evoke the sheerness of the fine silk fabric used in the construction of the garments.
